GROUND CHICKEN NUGGETS

Making ground chicken nuggets is easy. Just mince chicken, add flavor, coat it in an egg and bread crumbs and you have something to fry. The best way to make nugget chicken is to use minced chicken breast. It’s so simple; just label the ingredient clearly and follow the directions. 
Chicken: You can use ground chicken made from a combination of breast and thighs for the best flavor. Just process it in the food processor until smooth.

  • Ground Chicken
  • Garlic powder or garlic paste
  • Onion powder or onion paste
  • Bread crumbs
  • Eggs to make an egg wash
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon juice, or vinegar
  • Chicken powder

HOW TO MAKE IT?

  • Grounding chicken nuggets are super simple and you can make them even easier by involving kids. 

Step to season ground chicken.

  • In a bowl, take the milk and put the bread in it.
  • Chop the chicken and Mmx the ground chicken with finely grated onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Add your seasoning and breadcrumbs.
  • Mix well and let the mixture chill in the fridge for 20 minutes to make it easier to roll.
  • Roll out small balls of chicken and roll them in the bread crumb. 

Pro tip: You can fry chicken balls on the stovetop directly in a small amount of oil. Although, not necessary but recommended.

    Steps to roll and coat nuggets in bread crumbs.

    • Lay a piece of plastic wrap flat on a flat surface. Put the round-shaped flat side of a nugget in the center of the plastic wrap.
    • Dip balls first in the egg mixture. Then dip in bread crumbs.
    • You can either fry or bake these at this stage. But, you could double the recipe if you want to use it as a main dish or to make fried chicken.

    HOW DO YOU FREEZE?

    • Wrap them in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and pop them in the freezer for 1-2 hours until they are completely frozen. To preserve freshness and avoid spoiling the flavor of your food, you need to store all the ingredients you need for cooking them. You’ll find that your food items are good for longer if they’re stored in zip-lock plastic bags

    HOW TO FRY?

    • Thaw frozen nuggets on the counter for 15 to 20 minutes. Throw frozen nuggets directly into the pan and let them cook for about 5-6 minutes on low heat or until they reach the desired degree. Do not over cook them, they will dry out. Take it out of the fridge and serve it with any dip or ketchup.
