What to Know About the Product

Design

The Keurig K155 Office Pro is a relatively compact commercial brewer, measuring 14 inches in height, 10.4 inches in width, and 13.9 inches in depth. Its silver plastic finish gives it an appealing appearance, complemented by a shiny stainless steel drip tray. The design is minimalist, with a prominent touchscreen as the primary interface, featuring engaging images of coffee bean harvesting during the brewing process.

On the back, there’s a single screw for draining and two tubes for emptying the inner tank, along with a power switch at the top. However, its drawback lies in its weight, nearing 20 pounds, making it challenging to move once placed on a countertop, which could be a consideration for those planning to use it in an office setting.

Performance

Despite its luxurious appearance and relatively high cost, the Keurig K155 Office Pro is primarily designed for the basic task of brewing K-Cups. Unlike some other Keurig models, it lacks features such as the “strong” brew and “multistream technology,” which can enhance the flavor of K-Cup coffee. The best keurig coffee maker machine offers brewing options for 4, 6, 8, and 10-ounce cups, although the taste doesn’t match up to other machines.

One limitation is its inability to reach the optimal coffee brewing temperature, as it maxes out at 182 degrees Fahrenheit, even with temperature adjustments. Furthermore, the temperature controls on the machine proved to be inaccurate. On a positive note, the keurig machine is energy-efficient, consuming only 124 KWH during 40 minutes of use, and it operates quietly, with a maximum decibel reading of 65dB.

User Friendly

The keurig coffee makers streamlines the Keurig brewing process by replacing traditional button presses with a user-friendly touchscreen interface. To make a cup of coffee, users only need to insert a K-Cup into the pod compartment, close the latch, and select their desired coffee size via the touchscreen. The generously-sized 90-ounce water reservoir rarely requires refilling, but when it does, it’s easily done by either filling it directly from the sink or pouring water from a pitcher into the top opening.

Operating the owner’s menu, which allows adjustments to temperature and clock settings, is equally straightforward with simple taps on the screen to navigate through options. Shutting down the machine at the end of the day is a breeze, thanks to a conveniently located switch at the top left corner of the rear panel.

FAQs

How do I drain and store my brewer using this coffee maker?

To drain and store your brewer, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the Brewer, unplug it, and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the Water Reservoir’s Lid, lift the Water Reservoir upward and to the right to remove it (it might be tight), then rinse and empty it.
  3. Turn the Brewer around with the back facing out. Unscrew the small knob to release the back panel, remove the panel, and set it aside. If the screw is tight, use a flathead screwdriver. Pull the tube down until it’s free (see fig25). Over a large pitcher, remove the plug and drain the water from the Internal Hot Water Tank into the pitcher. Be cautious as the water might be hot if the Brewer hasn’t cooled enough. Recap the tube. When done, re-insert the tube and screw the panel back onto the Brewer.

How to Find Your Serial Number?

You can find your serial number on the side of the Brewer box or on the bottom of the Brewer.

How often do I need to descale my system?

The frequency of descaling depends on your water’s mineral content. Using filtered or bottled water is recommended to prevent scale buildup. Your Brewer has a reminder that tracks liquid flow and prompts you to descale when necessary. If you think your water has a high mineral content, consider descaling more frequently, even if you postpone the initial prompt.
