Other Tips for a Maruya Recipe

While sugar is the traditional coating for this snack, you can experiment with other coatings. For example, if you want some extra sweetness, you can drizzle some chocolate syrup or caramel. If you prefer something less sweet, try a sweet and savory combination of condensed milk topped with quick-melt cheese. Whatever topping you choose, make sure to eat the snack quickly lest you end up with a soggy treat.
