Verdict: a conditional buy, no numeric score. The Saachi NL-PC-5306 is a 6-litre, 1,000-watt electric pressure cooker with 10 programmes, a 24-hour preset timer and automatic keep-warm. In my test it cooked one cup of rice with marinated chicken on the steam rack in 12 minutes of cooking time — about 20 minutes start to finish — and both came out right. It is a workhorse for families of four to six, meal preppers and anyone on 220–240 V mains, and a skip for small kitchens or for North America without a transformer.

This is my review of the Saachi NL-PC-5306, a 6 L electric pressure cooker that some shops list as NL-PC-5306-BK. I tested it in my own kitchen and there are no affiliate links or shopping links on this page. Below: what the rating plate says, what I cooked, what I got wrong in my videos, and whether it is worth the money in 2026.

One spelling note before we start. YouTube’s automatic captions turn the brand into “Sachi” and “Sashi” in my videos. The rating plate spells it Saachi, and the model is NL-PC-5306. Retailers add “-BK” for the black version.
Saachi NL-PC-5306 specifications: what the rating plate says
The Saachi NL-PC-5306 is a 6-litre multi-function electric pressure cooker rated 1,000 W at AC 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz, with a brushed stainless steel body, an LED display and button controls. Saachi does not publish a page for the 6 L model any more, and I could not find a manual online. So the “Official or listing” column below comes from retailer listings (Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa, read 30 September 2026), and the last column is what I found on my own unit. The rating plate is the most reliable source of all.

Is the Saachi NL-PC-5306 inner pot stainless steel or non-stick?
It is non-stick. The inner pot on my unit is dark grey-black inside, and both Amazon listings I read call it a non-stick coated pot; the Amazon.ae page I show in my verdict video says “Non-stick coated inner pot” too. In my test video I called it stainless steel and “dishwasher safe”, and that was wrong. What is stainless steel here is the body and the perforated steam rack that sits in the pot.
I hand-wash mine with warm soapy water. The two listings disagree on the dishwasher and I have no manual, so I would not put the pot in a dishwasher unless Saachi’s manual says so.
The pot also has lines moulded into the wall: cup marks from 2 to 12 and fraction marks (2/5, 3/5, 4/5). For one cup of rice I followed the water marking on the pot. Without the manual I cannot tell you what the fraction marks are for.
What did I get wrong in my Saachi NL-PC-5306 videos?
Six things. I checked my videos against the rating plate on the cooker, the control panel and the Amazon listings, and these are the places where I was wrong or overstated something. My verdict itself does not change, but the details below do.

Something I did not get wrong: the 1,000 W figure. The plate on my unit says 1000 W, while the Amazon.ae spec table says 800 W. I trust the plate.
What comes in the box with the Saachi NL-PC-5306?
Besides the cooker and its non-stick inner pot, my box held a measuring cup, a serving spoon, a stainless steel steam rack and a condensation cup. Amazon.ae’s listing only names a “measuring pot and spoon”, so the steam rack and condensation cup may not come in every box; both were in mine.
The condensation cup is the accessory people miss. It slides into a slot at the back of the cooker and catches the water that runs down from the lid and the pressure valve during cooking. Without it you get a puddle on the counter. You empty it after cooking, so do not lose it.
Can the Saachi NL-PC-5306 cook rice and chicken at the same time?
Yes. In my test the Saachi NL-PC-5306 cooked one cup of vegetable rice in the pot and marinated chicken on the steam rack above it in one go: 12 minutes of cooking time on the Rice programme, about 20 minutes including pressure build-up and release. The chicken came out juicy and cooked all the way through, and the rice was fluffy and separate, with no sticking and no drying out.
One cup of rice and a few pieces of chicken gave two full plates with enough left over for another meal, and we kept the leftovers. A complete meal of protein, vegetables and carbs, with one pot to clean, is where this machine earns its place.
How do you cook rice and chicken in the Saachi NL-PC-5306, step by step?
This is what I did, in order. I could not find Saachi’s manual online, so these steps are my own method and general electric pressure cooker practice, not Saachi’s instructions.
- Put the rice in the inner pot. I used one cup because I was cooking for two, and I added water to the matching line marked on the pot wall.
- Add the rest of your rice dish to the pot.
- Place the steam rack on top and lay the marinated chicken on it.
- Seal the lid and select the Rice programme; the Rice light comes on next to the display.
- Wait: the cooking time was 12 minutes, and about 20 minutes with pressure build-up and release.
- Release the pressure and open the lid. The release method changes the result, so see the cons below.

What do the keep-warm and the 24-hour timer do?
Keep-warm switches on by itself when the cooking cycle ends, and I left a finished meal in the cooker for another 30 minutes: it was still hot and moist. The 24-hour preset timer lets you load the cooker in the morning and come home to a cooked meal. For meat or dairy, keep that delay short: perishable food should not sit at room temperature for hours.
Can you use the Saachi NL-PC-5306 in the US or Canada?
Only with a step-up transformer. The plate on the cooker says AC 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz, 1000 W. North American outlets deliver about 120 V, so the cooker needs its voltage raised, and a plug adapter changes only the pin shape, not the voltage. As a rule of thumb, buy a step-up transformer rated comfortably above 1,000 W, for example 1,500 W or more, and check the rating on the transformer itself. In the verdict video I called this a “step down converter”; that was the wrong direction.
In my kitchen it runs from a UK-style three-pin plug on 220–240 V mains, which is why I call it plug and play on that voltage. For North American buyers the extra transformer is a cost and clutter, and for some a deal breaker.
What do other owners say?
Almost nothing can be said yet: on Amazon.ae the NL-PC-5306 shows 5.0 out of 5 from 2 ratings and 0 written reviews, and Amazon.sa and Microless show no ratings at all (all read 30 September 2026). Two star-only ratings prove nothing, so ignore the “perfect five stars” line in my verdict video.
I also found no independent test, no editorial review and no recall notice for this model (searched 30 September 2026; the Gulf regulators’ recall databases were not searched directly, so absence of a notice is not proof that none exists). My two videos appear to be the only hands-on content, so the cons below are ones I hit myself or that apply to every pressure cooker.
Saachi NL-PC-5306 pros and cons
Pros
- Digital control panel. The LED display is clear, and the presets for rice, meat, soup and steam take the guesswork out of cooking.
- 24-hour preset timer. Load it in the morning and come home to a cooked meal.
- Automatic keep-warm. A meal I left in for 30 extra minutes was still hot and moist.
- Safety features. Pressure release valve, lid lock and overheat protection; I never felt unsafe using it.
- Two dishes in one pot. Rice below and chicken on the steam rack came out right in about 20 minutes total.
- 1,000 W and 6 L. Enough for a family of four to six and for batch cooking.
Cons
- 220–240 V only. In North America it needs a step-up transformer; that is extra cost and a hassle.
- The release method matters. Natural or quick release changes the result: get it wrong and you can overcook meat or dry out rice. It takes practice and is not as forgiving as a slow cooker.
- The sealing ring absorbs odours. Curry and fish linger, so wash the silicone gasket well; it will eventually need replacing.
- It is big. 33 × 29 × 36 cm and 4.5 kg takes up real counter or cupboard space.
- Hard to find and hard to check. No manual online, no official page for the 6 L model, and no current price on Amazon.ae or Amazon.sa.
Is the Saachi NL-PC-5306 worth the price?
At the roughly $54 I quoted when I filmed, yes: 1,000 W, 6 L, a timer and keep-warm for that money is a workhorse that saves time and money for the right household. The catch is that I could not confirm that price anywhere today, so check availability before you plan around it. If the only listing you find is well above that, the alternatives below, most of which have larger rating bases, become the better deal.

I found no listing for the NL-PC-5306 in Kenya, India, Pakistan or Nigeria. At recent exchange rates UGX 385,000 is roughly $100 or more (my own rough conversion), about double the $54 I quoted, so the Ugandan price is not the bargain from my video. Saachi’s own website (saachi.ae) lists the 4, 8, 10 and 12 L cookers but not this 6 L one, which suggests it has been dropped from the range.
Who should buy the Saachi NL-PC-5306 — and who should skip it?
Buy it if
- You cook for a large family: the 6 L capacity fits four to six people comfortably
- You meal-prep: you can batch cook for a week in two or three sessions
- You are a busy professional: the 24-hour timer and keep-warm mean you come home to a hot meal
- You are on 220–240 V mains, where it is plug and play
Skip it if
- You have a small kitchen — it takes up real counter space
- You are in North America without a converter — the voltage adds cost and clutter
- You want a simple small appliance or just a small rice cooker
- You hate cleaning gaskets — strong-smelling food will linger
How do you clean and store the Saachi NL-PC-5306?
Unplug the cooker, let it cool completely and lift out the inner pot. This is my order, and it is general good practice rather than Saachi’s manual:
- Unplug the machine and let it cool completely.
- Remove the inner pot and wash it with warm soapy water.
- Wipe the outer body and control panel with a damp cloth if needed.
- Clean the lid, then remove the sealing ring and wash it separately.
- Dry everything completely before reassembling.
The sealing ring absorbs odour from strong foods like curry or beans, so wash it well and let it air-dry completely before storing. A ring that still smells after a wash is common to all pressure cookers, but it is worth knowing before you buy, because the ring will eventually need replacing. For storage, keep the cooker on the counter if you use it several times a week. If space is tight, store the inner pot inside the cooker body and rest the lid upside down on top.
Where can you find a manual or a spare sealing ring for the Saachi NL-PC-5306?
Not online, as far as I could find. I searched Saachi’s site, Saachi Store, Amazon listings and manual databases on 30 September 2026 and found no manual for the NL-PC-5306, no Saachi-branded replacement ring and no published error codes. Generic silicone rings are sold by inner diameter, but Saachi does not publish this model’s ring size.
