HOW TO MAKE TEA FROM ORANGE PEELS

It’s very easy to make orange peel tea using dried and fresh peels or skin. You can give more flavor to your traditional or classical orange tea by adding different flavors.

You can serve it hot or cold, as per your liking and desires. I prefer to drink it chilled. It’s always better this way! You can make this orange tea with just a peeled, washed orange. You’ll store the peeled, washed orange in an airtight container for later use. For this delicious homemade orange peel tea, all you need is a couple of oranges, a whole cinnamon stick, and 1 quart of boiling water.

Boil the fruit peels in water for 5 to 10 minutes to concentrate the flavor of the peels. I added one teaspoon of cinnamon powder to make it taste and smell better. Then I squeezed fresh lemon, strained it, and let it sit.

What Type of Oranges Are Best For Tea?

Here I’ve made it with valentia-style oranges, but you can use other oranges in their place. I prefer Pakistani and Indian Oranges (Kinnow) because they are softer than their other counterparts, and they are very flavorful. In the US or Brazil, as they are world-leading producers of oranges, you can take navel oranges to make this orange tea.

FLAVORS OF ORANGE PEEL TEA

The 4 Flavors of Orange Peel Tea are:

1) Classical Orange Peel Tea

Simply add an ounce of orange peel to boiling water. Add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the saucepan. Boil for 10 minutes on medium heat. Once the solution is at boiling point, turn off the stove. You can remove your saucepan from the stove and wait for it to cool down.

2) With Black Tea

You should boil a pot of water with orange peels and add some black tea. This orange peel tea keeps you Warm in the Winter! Best for winter to stay warm.

3) With Coffee

Place the oranges in a pot of boiling water and boil for 10 minutes. Add black coffee, and a little cream, and heat it up a bit in the microwave.

4) With Orange Juice

If you want to serve chilled, add ice to make it more attractive. Tea made with orange peel in it adds a great taste to it. It makes the tea look more presentable.
